Just found out that Total Wipeout/winter wipeout is no longer going to be producing new shows. I have missed my chance to apply and appear on the show!!

 How am I going to fulfil my task 40 now?

Completed another: Number 32: Go to a water slide park.

We went to Basignstoke aquadrome in the Easter holidays. It was great. It has a swimming pool, 3 slides, rapids and some bubble pools.

The slides where great. For the yellow and blue slides you had to go down on big ring floats either on your own or in pair. Yellow slide was slower of the two. On the blue slide you got to go uphill- how is this possible on a water slide you ask? Well it was bit like a roller coaster as there were motors that drove the float upwards. Very clever and fun. Sophie wouldn't go on any slide until about 10 minutes before the end when she went on the blue slide and loved it! Typical. She then had to try and go on as many times as she could before we had to leave!!!

The green slide was called the space bowl. I was a super fast slide that ended in a bowl a bit like a plug hole. Iain went whizzing down and ended head first through the plug hole.

It was great and I think we will go back again. Even better we used our Kellogg's free swim vouchers!

Number 28 - Be part of a team/play a team game

Last weekend Iain's brother Andy, his wife Lizzie and their children (Heather (age 9) and Daniel (age 5)) came to visit on their way to their place in France. While at the park we had a game of rounders: girls against boys

Teams:

Girls: Janette, Lizzie, Heather, Sophie
Boys: Iain, Andy, George, Daniel

We didn't have many rules just thought we would have a game. Each having a turn at batting.

What happened: Sophie refused to play and went back to the climbing frame. George then had a sulk and went off. Finally Daniel decided he didn't want to play either (before Iain hit him in the head with the rounders bat- that was later on!!).

Update:

We have had Day 3 of our Walympics. I have posted the photos but not the score sheet yet.

We now have a proper trophy as a prize (donated from mum and dad)

I have also updated the growing of my plant.

Completed number 4: spa day with friends.

We went to London last Friday to enjoy a spa day at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane.

The treatment centre was in the basement. We had a very relaxing time. Over 2 hours included neck and back scrub, back massage, facial treatment, hand and foot massage. Then we had chance to spend some time in the sauna and steam room. Finally we had a glass of bubbly (or fruit juice).

Then we thought we would hunt around the hotel to find the room with the nice chandeliers in (we had seen them on the way in). After Pippa had asked someone we found them .

We then had a walk to china town, late lunch and a bit of a shop. Great day out. Thanks girls.
