Changed a couple of the list:
Number 8. Cycle the reading monopoly board (with Claire) instead of running a 10K. The 10k race I signed up for was cancelled because of rain and it was re-ran when I was away on holiday. The cycling will be energetic though!!
Number 20. See a recording of a TV show (so appear on TV in the audience!!)
Iain has got us tickets to see the filming of 'Not going out' as I think Lee Mack is very funny. This is instead of trying to break a Guinness world record. I have had the paper work from Guinness world record but it seems far to complicated to try an attempt?? Still thinking this over.
Number 38. Enjoy traditional afternoon tea instead of taking a river cruise. I have booked an afternoon tea for myself and Kaye in October.
Completed: go roller skating (number 24)
We had our annual Friday friends children's birthday party (we met at baby yoga 9 years ago) last week. We went to the Hexagon in Reading for an hours roller skating. The Hexagon is usually a theatre but they had removed the seats and created a roller rink. We hired our stakes and 5 adults and 10 children skated!! We expected other people to be there (open to public) but it turned out that we had the place to ourselves. So private birthday party for us!. There were disco balls, disco music and man who helped us skate.
Here we are at the end. A great photo of us all.
It didn't take long to remember how to skate. I spent a lot of my youth at the Maghull roller rink! After a bit of showing off (going backwards and in a train with Claire) I proceeded to go to fast and fell over! Still have the bruise over a week later!!
Here is a short video of some action.

Had a fab day last Saturday with Fi (friend from high school). After giving a tutorial for some students I met Fi for lunch followed by a trip to Kettner's ( http://www.kettners.com/) restaurant and champagne bar (one of the oldest champagne bars in London).
Thank you Fi for the champers and great company!
